WHAT TO EXPECT

Hiring the right interior designer for your project is a must!  Most likely, you are taking action on a project you’ve been dreaming about for some time and have already envisioned some aspects of the design.  We, at Kamarron Design, Inc. do not believe in imposing our ideas on clients.  Instead, our philosophy is to work cooperatively with our customers and build a design solution that is in line with their vision and taste.  We achieve this by encouraging client participation in every phase of planning and implementation of design.

We have a proven design process that assists us in creating the space of your dreams.  Here is the process you can expect when partnering with Kamarron Design, Inc. on your next project:

Client InterviewOne of our Principal Interior Designers will meet with you in your home.  At this meeting we learn more about your goals, dreams & vision for the space, and also discuss your project concerns.

Letter of Agreement We have a written agreement encompassing the project scope and fees involved.

Design Programming:  Our team will gather important details needed to design your project.  Detailed measurements and photos will be taken, as well as existing samples taken and blueprints reviewed after the letter of agreement is signed.

Design Development:  After careful examination of detailed materials such as blueprints, photos, measurements, sketches, and conceptual ideas a one-of-a-kind plan designed for you is selected for implantation of your project.  Our specific design plan addresses color, shape, texture, massing, scale & spatial relationships (such as traffic flow), furniture lay-out, and vertical & horizontal plane interrelationships.

Design Presentation:  A detailed presentation which encompasses the design details and solutions for your project.  Colors, finishes, material selections, furniture, fabric, and accessory details will be presented.

Documentation Details:  The specific selections for your project in a written documentation including technical drawings, sketches, tear sheets, paint chips, and fabric samples.

Execution & Supervision of Design:  We regularly visit the construction site to assist your contractors and give guidance when needed; place and track furniture & accessory orders; oversee the fabrication of custom items; arrange delivery and personally install the fit and finishes of the project.
